Gun Hallborg

For more than 40 years, Gun Hallborg, based in Helsingborg, has engaged in weaving. The interest was born after seeing a rag rug by Märta Måås-Fjetterström. Gun has extensive knowledge of damask weaving, a technique she uses for tapestries, tablecloths, curtain and furniture fabrics. She is also trained in textile dyeing. Today, Gun weaves mostly rugs and blankets, and many customers order rugs of their own design. Gun Hallborg is constantly developing her weaving with new techniques, materials and colors.
